Top lifts uz Melburnas latviešu nama lielo zāli
Beidzot Melburnas namā būs LIFTS! Ilgi esam gaidījuši un plānojuši lai liftu varam ievietojam namā, tas tagad īstenojas. Vieta liftam ir izraudzīta, sagatavota un lifts nopirkts. Pašreizi to būvējam ar cerību to nobeigt dažu nedēļu laikā. Cik jauki un viegli būs visiem tikt no nama fojē uz lielo zāli, bez kāpnēm! Nebūs arī vairs iemesli sūdzībām ka ir grūti apciemot sarīkojumus namā, jo zāle atrodās otrajā stāvā. Paldies visiem, kuri ir ar ziedojumiem palīdzējuši namam samaksāt lifta iegādi. Kaut gan vēl ir ļoti liels iztrūkums, lai visus izdevumus nosedzam, nams būs ļoti pateicīgs saņemt vēl kādu dolaru, lai palīdzētu nosegt iztrūkumu.
Projekta kopīgā izmaksa aprēķināta ap $120,000.

Melbourne Latvian House will soon have a LIFT! We have been planning this lift for a long time and it is now being installed. The space for the lift has been cleared and prepared and the lift has been purchased. It is currently being installed and should be ready in a few weeks’ time. It will then be so easy for everyone to get from the foyer to the main hall, without climbing the stairs! There won’t be any reason to complain that it is difficult to come to events at the Latvian House as the hall is on the second floor. Thank you to everyone who has donated for this cause. Although there is still a need for more donations to cover all cost and Latvian House would be thankful for any help to help pay for the installation of the lift.
The total cost of the project is $120,000.
