Latviešu izglītības delegācija Melburnas latviešu namā
Sestdien 16. aprīlī Melburnas latviešu namā abas skolas saimes par izglītības tēmu uzrunās Latviešu valodas aģentūras pārstāve Vineta Vaivade un Valsts izglītības satura centra pārstāve Anta Lazareva. Delegācija ieradusies Melburnā apciemot abas skolas un iepazīties ar to darbību. Delegācijā uz Austrāliju atbraukusi LVA vadība – aģentūras direktors Jānis Valdmanis, direktora vietniece Dace Dalbiņa, kā arī PBLA Izglītības padomes izpilddirektore Anta Spunde. Galvenais brauciena mērķis bija diasporas latviešu skolotāju konference Sidnejā, kas notika 9. un 10. aprīlī.
On Saturday 16th April both Melbourne Latvian schools will be able to attend a talk at Latvian House about education issues by Latvian Language Agency teacher-educator Vineta Vaivade and VISC representative Anta Lazareva. The delegation will be in Melbourne to visit both schools and gain an insight into the way both schools operate. The delegation to Australia includes the director of the Latvian Language Agency, Jānis Valdmanis, deputy director Dace Dalbina and education representative from the World Federation of Free Latvians, Anta Spunde. The main purpose of the trip for the delegation was the Latvian teachers’ conference that took place in Sydney on 9th and 10th April.
