LU gada svētkos Anitas Andersones runas tēma: kora tradīcijas Austrālijā
Latvijas Universitātes gada svētki notiks š.g. sestdien 22. septembrī plkst. 16.00 Melburnas Latviešu nama Mazā zālē. Akadēmisko runu teiks fil! Anita Andersone, korp! Imeria ar tēmu “Dziedot Mūžu Dzīvojam!, kora tradīcijas Austrālijā un to nākotne”. Pēcpusdienu kuplinās ar dziesmām, ko sniegs Dainas koris un Veseris. Ieeja pret ziedojumiem sākot ar $10.
The annual commemmoration of the founding of the University of Latvia will be held on Saturday 22nd September at 16:00 in the small hall of the Melbourne Latvian House. The public lecture will be given by Anita Andersone, from the Imeria sorority, titled “We live our lives singing!, Latvian choir traditions in Australia and future prospects”. The afternoon will also feature performances by Daina mixed choir and Veseris male choir. Entry by donation starting from $10.
