Melburnas latviešu namā turpinās remontdarbi
MLNK valdes loceklis Henrijs Pacers ziņo, ka Melburnas latviešu namā lifts, kas pasākumu apmeklētājus varēs droši nogādāt uz Lielo zāli tagad ir nobeigts un pie viena izlemts arī uzlabot fuajē telpu. Ir plānots, ka šo sapulcēšanās telpu savienos ar kafejnīcu, tā lai var ērti apkalpot sarīkojumu dalībniekus starpbrīžos ar atspirdzinājumiem. Darbs jau ir iesākts un MLNK valde paredz, ka remontdarbi tiks nobeigti oktobra sākumā.
MLNK Board Member Henry Pacers reports that the new lift to the Great Hall at Melbourne Latvian House is now complete and will soon be able to provide safe access to events held at the Latvian House. Work is currently in progress to renovate the foyer; by joining the cafe with this area, concert-goers will have easy access to the cafe during intermission for purchase of refreshments. Work is to be completed by the beginning of October.
